UFC 145: JONES VS. EVANS LIVE-BLOG WITH VINCE MANCINI AND DANNY BOY DOWNES THIS SATURDAY

Starting at 7PM/10PM PST/EST this Saturday, April 21, With Leather will be enlisting the help of FilmDrunkeditor and UPROXX resident UFC expert Vince Mancini to live-blog the event. Not only that, but we’ll have UFC vet and current UFC.com writer Daniel “Danny Boy” Downes in the house to give his professional perspective.

Countdown to UFC 145: Jones Vs. Evans Live Discussion

This weekend's UFC 145 will feature a clash between top light heavyweights and former teammates Jon Jones and Rashad Evans. The elite 205-pound fighters have been butting heads ever since Jones accepted a title fight as a replacement for an injured Evans, but they may finally settle their differences on Saturday.

The fight card will also feature the return of Rory MacDonald, a young Canadian fighter touted by many as the next Georges St-Pierre. MacDonald will meet a fellow rising star in Che Mills, who picked up a dominant victory over Chris Cope in his UFC debut.

Contenders Brendan Schaub, Mark Hominick, Miguel Torres, Michael McDonald, Travis Browne and plenty of other talented fighters also fill out a night of fights that should be one to remember for quite some time.

Before Saturday's event, the fighters will hit the scales at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Ga. on Friday at 4 p.m. ET. Video of the weigh-ins will be streamed live on the above video player. The Countdown to UFC 145 show will be debuting tonight on Fuel at 9:30 p.m. ET/6:30 p.m. PT, and Bloody Elbow is the place to talk about it. It might be a tad underwhelming compared to your regular Countdown special due to the fact that the UFC has produced a Primetime series about the main event already, but that just gives them more time to focus on Rory MacDonald vs. Che Mills and Brendan Schaub vs. Ben Rothwell.

For those wondering, it will only be a half-hour show. The show will be followed up by UFC Tonight and Ultimate Insider, and we'll have discussion posts for that as well.
